About Richard Troutman
Attorney Richard Troutman (Rick Troutman) personally handles every aspect of his cases and offers his clients rare accessibility and availability at all times. Mr. Troutman was raised in Orlando and has lived in the area his entire life. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, establishing himself as one of the leading personal injury attorneys in Florida.
After completing his undergraduate studies with honors at Rollins College, Rick Troutman then went on to earn his law degree at the University of Florida. In 1980, he worked in the State Attorney’s office as a prosecutor. Since 1984, his practice has been devoted entirely to representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases in Florida. He also specializes in helping the victims of motorcycle accidents receive the just compensation to which they are entitled.
One of the most trusted and respected personal injury attorneys in Florida, Richard Troutman has been awarded several important honors. He was selected by his peers as a Leading American Attorney, a title awarded to less than 6 percent of the state’s attorneys. Rick Troutman has also earned the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell® rating, an “AV.” These ratings are determined confidentially by members of the Bar, with an “AV” rating indicating an attorney with “very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards.” Mr. Troutman is also a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (he sat on the Board of Directors in 1990), the American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Florida Bar.
